All convertible top cylinders are not the same. Our top cylinders are made from solid aluminum castings which are stronger than die-cast and our two-piece rod allows us to use a heavier, stronger steel. You won't find a better made convertible top cylinder on the market. All of our parts are made and assembled here in the U.S.A.
Our Chrysler convertible top cylinders are made to fit Chrysler Sebring from 1996 thru 2006. The orginal Sebrings for 1999-2006 are a smaller diameter. They use high pressure and are prone to fail quickly. Our cylinders are a larger diameter, but will fit as a replacement. Because they operate on lower pressure they will last at least twice as long. When replacing these cylinders it is strongly advised to replace both at the same time. They are made to the same specifications used by Chrysler. They have a five year warranty and will provide years of problem free use.
